Enrollment

Preschool class students must be 3 years old by August 1, 2024, in order to register for 2024-25 school year.

K-Bound preschool students must be 4 years old by August 1, 2024 in order to register.

Students must be fully toilet trained and independent in all toileting needs.

The non-refundable application fee is $150 for full-day students. Program fees, including tuition, snacks, supplies and late payment or pick-up fees, can be viewed on our Fees & Payment page.

2024-25 Full-Day Community Preschool - Preschool starts Tuesday, July 30, 2024, and students attend 183 school days (includes January 6 and June 2).

• Before School Care:
  • 7:00 am - 8:20 am,  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 
    • Arrivals between 8:20-8:30 must wait until 8:30, as our staff is transitioning for the arrival of all students
  • 6:45 am  - 8:20 am Wednesday 
• School Day
  • 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
• After-School Care:
  • 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm
    •  Late pickup charges:  $20.00 fee for first 15 minutes; $5.00 charge for each minute past 5:00 pm. Repeated late pick-ups may result in dismissal from the program.

2024-25 Half-Day Developmental Preschool - Developmental preschool starts Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The developmental preschool program runs on ACSC's student calendar. If district students are not in school, developmental preschool students do not attend. 

• Morning session: 8:30-11:00 am
• Afternoon session: 1:00-3:30 pm

Community Preschool (Parent Paid) - Community students attend 183 school days. (This includes Jan 6 and June 2). The first student day is July 30.

Developmental Preschool - First day for students is July 31.  Developmental preschool students follow the district school calendar, attending 180 days. 

All community students (parent paid) will be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian. There is no bus service for our community program.

Developmental preschool students have access to bus transportation as part of their Individualized Education Plan.

Returning Community Student Registration begins February 21. You will receive an application link on February 20 via your Parent Square account if you child is in a community classroom (Stamm/Washington/Ridley). The link will go LIVE at 6am on February 21st. 

Employee Registration begins March 1. Your application link can be found in the February 16 and March 1 issues of the Inside Avon employee newsletter. This application link will go LIVE at 6am on March 1st.

Avon Resident Registration begins March 6. Your application link will be located on our enrollment page and will go LIVE at 6am on March 6th.

Once approved by the ACSC School Board, the parent handbook can be found here, as well as on the district website (which contains all PK-12 handbooks).

At this time, we do not accept CCDF.

Yes.  All Avon school nurses are employed through Hendricks Regional Health. Onsite hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.  You can reach our school nurse by calling (317) 544-6700. Press option 2 when prompted.
