Avon Community School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Scott Wyndham has a brief message for all Avon and Washington Township Voters.

In 2012, Avon Schools ranked 16 out of 292 Indiana school corporations on standardized testing results. In the following years, our state rank fell 39 places to 55th in the state. In 2018, when the community supported the Operating Referendum, test scores rebounded immediately.

On September 12, 850 juniors descended upon the Town of Avon today for the 10th-annual AHS celebration of community involvement: Junior Day of Caring.

More than 1.3 million US juniors in about 21,000 high schools entered this year's National Merit Scholarship Program and seven AHS students earned a spot on the list of 16,000 Semifinalists.
